This workflow automates the high-variability, high-volume bottleneck of manual rubric application. It ingests submissions (papers, code, presentations) and a structured rubric from the LMS (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard). A parsing agent decomposes the rubric into discrete criteria and scoring bands. Orchestration logic then routes the submission to specialized evaluation agents—LLMs fine-tuned for reasoning, code execution sandboxes, or multimodal analysis. Each agent scores its assigned criteria, generating evidence-based justifications. The operational upside comes from eliminating repetitive scoring labor, ensuring policy-compliant consistency across large cohorts, and freeing faculty for high-value feedback and intervention.
