The integration connects a conversational AI layer to the LOS's core APIs and event streams. When a borrower texts or chats a question like "What's my loan status?" or "Has my appraisal been ordered?", the AI agent authenticates the session, maps the query to the correct loan file in Encompass, MeridianLink, or Floify, and retrieves the relevant data points—such as loan.stage, conditions.pending, milestones.lastUpdated, or documents.required. The response is then generated in natural language, citing specific statuses and next steps, all without requiring a human loan officer or call center agent to log in and look it up.
