The primary workflow begins by using an AI agent to monitor new asset entries or scheduled scans of existing records. For each asset, the agent retrieves attached purchase orders, invoices, or warranty certificates from Asset Panda's storage. Using document intelligence (OCR and NLP), it extracts key terms: purchase date, supplier, serial number, warranty duration, and coverage specifics. This parsed data is then written back to the asset record using custom fields (e.g., Warranty Expiration Date, Coverage Type, Claim History) via Asset Panda's REST API, creating a structured, queryable warranty database.
