Not all detections warrant an immediate dispatch. A review dashboard presents medium-confidence alerts and anomalous patterns to a security analyst for validation. The analyst can confirm, dismiss, or escalate the alert, with all actions logged for audit. For confirmed threats, the system can automatically trigger additional actions: pivoting nearby PTZ cameras for live feed, dispatching a drone for closer inspection, or notifying local law enforcement via integrated CAD systems. This gate prevents alert fatigue and ensures appropriate response.

Every image, inference result, alert, and analyst action is timestamped and stored in a secure, queryable data lake. This creates a defensible audit trail for post-incident investigation, insurance claims, and regulatory compliance. The data lake also feeds a continuous learning loop, where false positives and new threat patterns are used to retrain and improve the vision models. Integration with asset management systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo) enriches records with repair histories and cost impacts of theft events.

Implementation uses a hybrid edge-cloud architecture. Lightweight detection models run on edge appliances at remote sites for low-latency analysis, with full-frame images and alerts synced to the cloud during connectivity windows.
