For CubeSat operators, manual conjunction screening is a costly operational bottleneck, consuming scarce engineering time and increasing collision risk. A custom automation workflow eliminates this by ingesting commercial SSA APIs like LeoLabs or Space-Track, applying configurable risk thresholds, and generating prioritized alerts. The architecture uses a lightweight orchestrator, such as a Python-based agent with LangGraph, to fuse data, run basic propagations, and trigger notifications. This reduces daily screening labor by over 70%, directly protecting mission assets and extending operational bandwidth for resource-constrained teams.
